Important Information Before You Start

Please read this CAREFULLY before you start using AutoAdministrator

AutoAdministrator can help you automate many tasks and save you lots of time, but it can also wreak havoc on your network. Before you perform any of the updates make sure you know exactly what you are doing. This tool is only recommended for experienced administrators and network professionals.

Most of the actions you perform with AutoAdministrator cannot be reversed!

ODBC: Updating ODBC drivers can potentially corrupt your ODBC setup on that machine and might require you to reinstall the respective ODBC driver. Only select "Attempt to copy driver files" and "Copy additional drivers" if you know exactly what files your ODBC driver(s) require.

Password: When changing passwords make sure that you remember the new password.

Service: When removing a service cannot be reserved, especially when also removing the service file.

Shutdown: When shutting down or rebooting servers we recommend setting a timeout of 5 minutes or more so that users or administrators on those machines have enough time to abort the shutdown, if necessary.

Registry: Deleting keys or deleting values on multiple machines can render those installations unusable. Even adding keys and values to the registry can create undesirable behavior. Only manipulate the registry if you know exactly what you are doing. Be particularly careful when deleting values or keys!
