With this feature you can automate the following tasks:

Shutdown / Reboot

Choose this option if you would like to shutdown or reboot the selected computers.

Timeout: The timeout field specifies in how many seconds the selected machines will actually be shutdown or rebooted, giving users some time to save their data.

Message: If you specify a message here then this message will be displayed on the remote computers before the computer is shutdown or rebooted. You will also have to specify a sufficiently large timeout value (see above) so that users will be able to see and read this message.

Force Applications To Close: To force applications that are open to close check the Force Applications To Close check box. This will shutdown or reboot the computers even when applications with unsaved data are open. Use this option with care.

Cancel Shutdown / Reboot

If you have scheduled a shutdown or reboot with AutoAdministrator (or another application) then you can cancel a running shutdown with this option.
